Karina is one of the Wraith class, whose attribute is fire. Wraiths are a stealthy, speedy class that use tricks and surprise attacks to destroy their foes before they are detected. Think of them as "rogues" or "ninjas".Something that should be noted about wraiths is the importance of their knife count. While all wraiths carry two katanas on their back for a basic offense, they really shine when using knives. As pictured, Karina is carrying six knives- note the two on each boot. As you progress through your journey, you have the option of upgrading a wraith's equipment to allow for a higher knife count.
"Why would you need more than one or two knives", you may be wondering. As well trained in daggers as wraiths are, they can be lost or dropped during battle. They can also be used as throwing weapons in some of their more powerful skills. All knives lost during a battle are recovered at the end, but you can never be too careful. It should also be noted that when using knives for melee attacks, wraiths have significant speed, avoidability and critical hit boosts.
Karina is, without a doubt, the fastest character in the game. This not only ensures that she will strike before her enemies do, it will also increase her chances of avoiding attacks coming her way. However, there's the ever-present trade-off: Karina's strength is much lower than other wraiths, and her stamina is a tad lacking. In an effort to maximize speed, Karina uses very lightweight clothing that doesn't provide a whole lot of defense.
