Ariane may be young, but she's a world-renowned Dimensionist. Her attribute is Shock. "What is a dimensionist?" you may be wondering. The answer is not nearly as straightforward as one might think.Dimensionists are a strange breed of magic casters skilled in using ancient, magical pendants to open dimensional gates. It is very rare for a human to be able to use this kind of magic, as it is not learned. Rather, you are born being able to use it.
These dimensional gates can be used for a number of things, but their most common use is for summoning Nox creatures. As with many aspects of Dimensionists, this may leave you with yet another question: why would humans want to summon Nox creatues? The magical pendants that dimensionists use have the power to purify the nox, and obey the dimensionist that summoned them. When purified, the nox are slightly weaker, but aren't weakened by light. With this power, the dimensionists seem to put on the hat of a "Summoner". But wait, there's more!
Dimensionists can also sacrifice their summoned creatures, and turn them into free-flowing life energy and heal allies. They're clerics, too? "What CAN'T dimensionists do?" you may be asking. Well, the answer, sadly, is "attack". Dimensionists cannot directly attack enemies with their magic.
As a character, Ariane is rather balanced- not particularly excelling in any one category. However, dimensionists suffer from very slow-to-cast spells, so their speed is among the lowest in the game. Using this class to its full potential will truly require tactical skill.
