Ages ago, there was no humans, no creatures, no Nox, only the goddess sisters Noar and Soal. While all powerful, the sisters were lonely on this planet. They decided that Earth was large enough to be home to many beings like themselves, so they began to create various creatures. However, they often disagreed with each other's creations, and destroyed each other's work. Soal believed that creatures should thrive during the day, when natural light shines down so they can see the beautiful world they lived in. Noar, however, thought that the stars and moon were far too wonderful to miss out on, and created creatures that thrive at night. The two fought, though briefly- as their powers were equal. The fighting ceased one day, when the sun was high in the sky. The asteroid known today as Metis passed between the sun and Earth, creating night during day. Though brief, Soal was amazed by the wonders of space seen during the day time. Noar, seeing her sister's awe, took a moment to see the world around her bathed in light, and saw that it too was good.
The two ceased fighting, and created two creatures- Humans and Vyrmm. Humans were symbolic of the diversity the two goddesses shared, while the Vyrmm represented the similarities between the two. As years passed, more creatures would be created: those that live by day, and those that live by night. This is the tale that has been passed down since that first generation.
