The Desert of Madmen is quite hot, and nobody knows that more than Mabel here. However, she has a bit more to worry about if she ends up in a battle out there, and I'm not talking about how the poor thing is dressed in all black.In harsh conditions, such as the snowstorms of Minero Point or the blazing sun and occasional sandstorms in the Desert of Madmen, your party members (as well as your opponents) are going to be much more susceptible to status effects. For example, out in the cold, you're twice as likely to suffer chill. In the same respect, you've got half the chance of being burned. Same goes for sand or snow storms: everyone suffers from squint temporarily.
If you feel like heating up battles online (no pun intended), you can choose to duke it out at these hazardous locations. It definitely provides more than a change of scenery.
