Accessories are a special kind of armor that not only make you more resilient to attacks, but in some cases grant special effects that can change the tide of battle.
Every accessory comes with a fortify value, expressed as a percent. When equipped, your resistance is increased by the fortification percent. While most accessories increase your resistance, be wary of the few that can actually decrease your resistance.
There are many different accessories in end.earth. Through a bit of trial and error, you can find the ones that work best with your party. Here's a few examples of the kinds of effects accessories can provide:
- Friendship Bracelet: Increases the effects of synergy on allies also equipped with a friendship bracelet
- Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Increases the probability of finding rare loot from monsters
- Rose Crown: Restores wearer to normal status immediately after being inflicted with a status condition, at the cost of 10% of their total HP
- Chaos Fang: Wearer cannot be critically hit
- Cobra Ring: Raises chances for a critical hit, but poisons the user when critical hits are performed.
As you can see with the last two accessories, sometimes the benefits you think you may be gaining from using a certain item may be negated by your opponent's accessory choice. It may be best to try to find out what your opponent has going for them as soon as possible in battles, or you may be caught off-guard.
