end.earth battles require teamwork amongst your allies- no single character can work alone to achieve victory, because everyone has both strengths and weaknesses. Characters with low defenses tend to make up for it with incredible offensive prowess, but they may be difficult to use without being defeated quickly. The solution? Strategy!I've recently released information about two opposite characters: Martin, who has a great deal of strength but can't be expected to take more than one hit, and Emily, who can effectively block most incoming attacks. One of the in-battle options of end.earth is "guard", and is what it sounds like: one character guarding another.
When guarding, a character takes any hits directed towards themselves and whoever they are guarding until it is their next turn. To aid in this, the guardian's defenses are significantly raised, however remember that they cannot deal damage that turn. Also, characters that are being guarded cannot guard other characters, and a character can only be guarded by one other character a time.
Guarding is a very important option for dimensionists. Once they have summoned several creatures, they can direct them to block both the dimensionists and his allies. Overall, strategic guarding will definitely be a battle-deciding maneuver.
